Twigo — Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 23 September 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Twigo ("Twigo," "we," "us," or "our"). Twigo is a mobile application that lets users record and share short on-camera video "takes" in response to debate topics ("Debates"), pick sides, vote, comment, and view and interact with other users' content.

Twigo is operated by Javid Nasirov. References to "Twigo," "we," or "us" mean Javid Nasirov. We may assign these Terms and the operation of the Service to an affiliated entity.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Twigo application, the website at thetwigo.com, and related services (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to use Twigo. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement, and we check the date of birth you give us when you sign up.

We do not knowingly permit accounts by anyone below the minimum age. If we learn that a user is below the minimum age, we may suspend or terminate the account. If you believe someone below the minimum age is using Twigo, contact us at apps@thetwigo.com.

3. Your Account

4. The Service and How It Works

Twigo allows you to view Debates and the video takes recorded in response to them; record short on-camera video takes (the Service is camera-only — takes are recorded within the app, not uploaded from your device library); pick a side and vote; comment on and interact with takes; and follow other users and share content.

Certain features may be limited, gated, or unavailable depending on the stage of the Service, your account, or your region. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. The Service is at an early stage and may change or experience interruptions.

5. User Content

5.1 Your content

"User Content" means anything you record, post, submit, or share on Twigo, including video takes, comments, votes, and profile information. You retain ownership of your User Content. You are solely responsible for your User Content and its consequences.

5.2 Licence you grant to us

By posting User Content, you grant Twigo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable licence to host, store, use, reproduce, display, perform, adapt, publish, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating, providing, and promoting the Service — for example, showing your take within debates, in feeds, on the web version of a debate, and in Twigo's own organic promotional material about the Service.

This licence exists so we can run the Service. It ends when you delete your User Content or your account, except: (a) where content has already been shared with others who have not deleted it; (b) for reasonable backup or legal-retention periods; and (c) for content already used in promotional material before deletion.

5.3 Your representations

You represent that: you own or have the rights to your User Content and to grant the licence above; your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party; and your User Content complies with these Terms and applicable law.

5.4 We are not responsible for User Content

User Content reflects the views of the users who post it, not Twigo. We do not endorse and are not responsible for User Content. We may review, moderate, filter, or remove content as described below, but we do not pre-screen all content.

6. Acceptable Use / Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to post, record, share, or engage in any content or conduct that:

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this section, at our discretion.

7. Moderation, Reporting, and Blocking

8. Twigo's Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including the Twigo name, logo, design, software, and features (excluding User Content) — is owned by us and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose, subject to these Terms.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Twigo you agree to those practices.

10. Third-Party Services and Sharing

The Service may let you share content to third-party platforms (such as Instagram or TikTok) and may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, their content, or their terms; your use of them is governed by their terms, not ours.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including licences already granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms) will survive.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content is accurate or reliable.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TWIGO AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Twigo and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party rights.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, in the app or by updating the "Last updated" date). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Azerbaijan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
